We are packed and ready to go, meet at Pauls 8.45 with a 9 o'clock start.

A final decision on the route to Wye, our first night stop has yet to be decided, do we go via Purley ( hillier & shorter ) or Dorking to the A25, ( flatter & longer ) we'll decide at the off.

Weather is dry but very windy, too windy, gusts up to 40 mph expected today and wind speeds up to 25 mph on mon & tues, not good for cycling, especially with panniers..Well just have to knuckle down and take turns at the front, like they do on the telly.

Annecy here we come !
