On Monday 2nd March 2015 our Blog page indicated that we had a fundraising target of US$2,000 which would enable us to organise repairs to the Toilets as well as build a new kitchen at the MTC Nursery School in Dodoma Tanzania. But this is Africa and somewhere along the way thanks to communication, translation and currency conversion this figure should have been USD$5,000.

But wait God is so good to us and provides all we need!!!!!!

After an amazing effort by C Smart International staff and a matching gift from Matt Holani and Paul Lemaire, owners of C Smart, plus some great individual donations we have almost reached this target.

All of the funds raised to date have been transferred to the bank account of Holy Trinity Anglican Church Hastings Victoria Australia, as this is where the funds are managed and US$'s are transferred to MTC as required. On Tuesday 14th April 2015 Holy Trinity transferred US$700 to the MTC Nursery School account which will enable MTC to repair and renovate the Nursery School toilet block.

Moses Matonya, Principal of MTC, has advised that as far as the new kitchen is concerned the builders are ready to start once funds are available. The current term at the Nursery School ends on the Friday 5th June 2015 and the next term starts on Monday 6th July 2015 and it would be nice for the children if they could find a new kitchen when they return to school 'So stay tuned for more updates'.
