Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19 v13

Our involvement with the children and staff at the Msalato Kindergarten in Dodoma Tanzania continues even though we have moved to the other side of the world.

Through the continuing generosity of Paul Lemaire and Matt Holani, owners of CSmart International, we are still able to provide the necessary funds which enable the children to have a porridge meal every day.

We have recently received a report from the Kindergarten teachers Naomi and Alice. This report has been translated for us from Kiswahili into English and we have published it un edited for you to read

Successe:

We have all the reasons to thank our God who enabled us to finish well last year and now we are in the new year 2015 and we are doing fine. We thank our

partners in Australia who pray for us and who support the school financially. With their support we can buy maize flour and sugar for porridge and for little salary of the two teachers.

This year we targeted to enrol about 50 children. We have managed to enrol 28 and sadly two of them died in January and we have remained with 26 (12 male and 14 female). The death of the two children was sudden and unexpected, so it was hard for the parents, for us and the children in the school. They were caught with malaria and they died in hospital. Children continue well to learn and to play on the ground. They love their school and we love them.

challenge:

1. Some of the children are coming from poor families. Their parents are not managing to pay for the school fees and school uniforms.

2. The toilets need repair

3. We cook porridge under a tree because we not have a kitchen. A small kitchen is needed.

With all these we give thanks to God - Naomi Mgale and Alice Ngoliga.

As we move forward in our journey with God we continue to pray for all at Msalato, especially the children, and we ask God to show us how we can best help those charged with meeting the current challenges the kindergarten faces.

We now have a target of USD $2,000.00 to ensure items 2 & 3 can be completed

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS AND SUPPORT
