Northumbria and the Scottish Borders - we were literally on the border!

From Newcastle we headed up to our base for the next 5 nights at Kirk Yetholm. Didn't actually realise till we got there that it was in Scotland, just across the border in fact by about a mile or two. Aha, that's what they mean by the Scottish Border country! Travels with Kate and Blu

We travelled around Australia in 2008 in a 4WD and caravan, a wonderful trip over 11 months and 50,000 km! In 2013 we embarked on another adventure, travelling through Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, then whipped through central Europe to the UK and Ireland, a trip of 6 months. ( still some chapters to write up 2 years on). Not sure what is next..... 2015. What came next was a 3 month trip to the UK, with the main goal being to walk 300 km across England on Wainwrights Coast to Coast route!
