Yeah I know...I've written long time ago my last blogg but we've done really nothing interessting.
Now,the seconde week is finish and we're have 4 weeks left😊
I really miss Switzerland 'cause the two coutries are really different. But I thinkt, that's not quiet interessting go tell you all the differences.

Okay...back to this day!!!

"Travel back one thousand years and visit the Vikings of Jorvik. Explore York's Viking history exactly where our archaelogists found the remains of the original Viking-Age City of 'Jorvik'. Journey throught the reconstructionf of Viking-Age streets, as the would have been in the year. See over 800 of the items discoverd on site."--->Flyer

Jorvik was the old name for York. The Vikings gave York his name but before the Romans has given York the name Eburacum(elfenbeinfarbig) 'cause the houses and the big wall around York are made with white stones.
So,we went to the Jorvik Museum where you travel 1000 years back in one day...
In the museum you don't have to walk. You going around with cars (like cabel-cars) and a speaker tells you everything about what you're seeing. But that's not the only special one...in some places you can smell something,

for example at the Market you smell fish or chees or what else you can smell at a market. It was a rebuilt of the a old little town😊
At the end of this trip you can see, how the they have found this ruins, skeletons an all this things. When we got out of the cars, we walked through a normal museum and we have seen some special little things they have found like a weapon,a skeleton, jewellery etc.

It was really interessting but I think a little bit too short.
Tomorrow we all are going to Whitby, it's on the east seeside(north see) of England.
Yeah...I think that's all!

See you!
