We took off to Thirsk to see where Alf Wight - James Herriott - worked and wrote.

So pretty and a great place to have lunch. We had tradtional sunday lunch at "The golden Fleece" which was known as the Darrowby Arms in his books.

Then headed to look at Harrogate before heading home.

We will miss the papers, soccer field out the back, chocolate, great supermarkets, papers.

I've read The family Fang - by kevin wilson, Call the midwife - Jennifer worth, The Decendants - Kaui Hart Hemmings, Half the human race - by Anothy Quinn, Capital by John Lanchaster, The woman who went to bed for a year, Sue Townsend and am loving!!!! The Kasmir Shawl - Rosie Thomas. I've down loaded Mareik Hardys book and The marriage plot and will add a few more to the ipad before we leave, hopefully will get hanas suitcase for the kids - all set around the concentration camps in Prague.

Lots to do but not much time.
