Let the Packing Begin

Well there are now only a couple of days to go until we leave for our amazing adventure in Vietnam & I suppose we better start thinking about sorting all our packing out, what shopping we still need to do & changing our money over to dong & dollars.

I have all our travel plans hotel confirmations, taxi's, internal flights & long haul flights all printed out & in a travel folder all I'm date order for as & when we need it. Yes I no it may sound a bit OTT but we are traveling from South Vietnam up to North Vietnam & then back down again, so it takes a lot of planning & organising.

We will be leaving the U.K. On the 28th July 2014 at 2105 on Etihad travelling Via Abu Dhabi with an 1hr 30min stop over then continuing on our journey to Ho Chi Minh City, finally arriving there at 1900 local time on the 29th July 2014. These 2 flights alone will be an adventure especially as we will be traveling with a 9yr old who has never flown longer than 4hrs.

Once we arrive in Ho Chi Minh we will be staying just 1 night before we catch an internal flight up to Hanoi where again we will only be staying 1 night Before we are collected & taken to Hay Long Bay where we are spending 3 days cruising round. We will then travel back to Hanoi where we will be spending another night before taking our 2nd internal flight to Dnang & then traveling via taxi to Hoi An where we will be spending 2 nights here. We then go back to Dnang for our 3rd flight which will take us to Nha Trang where we will be spending 4 nights here chilling on the beach as well as travelling. Finally we will be taking our 4th internal flight back to Ho Chi Minh where we will be spending our final night before our long flight home.
