Well we made it! 32 hours traveling since we left Akl airport and now we're sitting in a pub called the Black Lion, having a pint and a pie. We left on a beautiful NZ autumn morning and have arrived here on a beautiful, if slightly more chilly spring morning. The room in the hotel is not ready for us to check into yet so we have had a wander around Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Sheer tiredness is getting the better of us however, so the pub is where we may stay until 1pm when we can get into our room and crash for a bit.

London
Sounds brilliant already and you've only just started. It sounds like healthy eating lolol. Pint and a pie. Nothing like it when you are dead tired and waiting to crash into a nice bed. Brilliant day here again. Mornings getting cooler and evenings too. Just takes a few days to notice the difference. Oh I got my first wedding booked. 24th March so not much time to prepare but I am thrilled. Passport money ha ha. Take care darlings. xxxxxx

Nothing like a English pub on a crisp Spring Day. Hope you enjoyed your pie and a pint. Any mushy peas with that? They do great Scampi and Chips! Beautiful photo. on FB. Look forward to following your adventures. Safe journey....... Karen

English Nosh
Congratulations on landing in the sceptred isle. Hope that you are drinking proper beer, and not that chilled stuff that we drink here in NZ. A pork pie (with a dash of HP), and a pint of bitter .... that's the way to go on a Spring Day. You may even sample a pickled egg whilst in a pub. Raewyn thought I was joking when I told that such things existed. Where to after London? Be safe and take care. Doris (Raewyn's friend)
