Keep digging!
Today was off to Coalville (well, near it) and a place called Snibston. Russell asked "Why is it called Snibston?" I told him I bet they had a contest to see who could come up with the most ridiculous name possible and it won. Snibston is a discovery centre with tons of hands-on exhibits about science and mining (this is pretty big part of it since it is a mining town) and engines and water power and on and on and on. They got to lift a mini (car) off the ground using a pulley system and a giant magnet. The kids had a blast and Nigel and Lori got to see some really interesting exhibits while the kids were busy. The day was cloudy but didn't rain! There was also an outdoor component to Snibston so the kids were able to enjoy that also. We set a new record getting home today as we did not make one wrong turn! I have included one photo of the trees that line most of the backroads that we have been driving this trip. You can't really see it well in the picture but the trees appear to be groomed (in the shape

of an upside down L) so that 18-wheeler transport trucks can go by without touching them. It makes for some strange shaped trees. But the reason I bring this up is that Nigel is developing the same sort of thing on the front top of his head! His skull is starting to form the same shape as the main beam dividing the kitchen from the den. If we lived in this house for much longer I really think it might become permanent!
