Xmas Update

Merry Winterval!

Its Christmas day so i probably shouldn't be playing on the internet, but i have eaten lots, drank lots and played with my xmas pressies so i decided to update the bog with the most recent plans..

The last few weeks have consisted of working lots and a series of xmas parties, including tom's xmas/leaving do and some rather eventful night out with work folk with liz's various work people (the beauty of having 3 jobs is that get three times the xmas fun). we have both gone home for xmas, tom to France and Liz to Winchester so catching up with people before we leave.

Thanks to very generous friends and family our travelling equipment is coming together nicely and we now have tent/torch/snorkel/flippers (!) etc and are now prepared for all eventualities. Being in France for Christmas tom has also gone to great lengths to stockpile for the hogmanay celebrations (Absinthe, vodka, tequila, 5 litres of wine etc) so looks like we should be able to have a good little send off for all our pals in Edinburgh. Also having a little leaving bash in London so should be a busy couple of weeks before we head off 'overseas' (as they like to say in neighbours) will let you all know how these go soon and hopefully put up some suitably embarrassing photos. Will put some up now of the last few weeks which have been rather eventful and lots of fun, and ok lots of them do seem to be of people with glasses in their hand, but it is xmas..
