It's one month to go in the countdown towards our skive. Actually, it's 16 working days but who's counting? Flight leaves on 28th December at 9.30pm so that means we should be sipping Champagne (or at the very least a glass of beer for Mr Deane and a glass of Rose for Mrs Deane) around about 6.30pm on that evening.

Leaving party has been and gone. Thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, especially the poodle rock music and the very generous buffet.

Off for 7 months round the world so that we can hide (skive) from work for a bit. Seeing a little of the world and drinking a few of it's beers. Mrs Deane has given Mr Deane full reign to write this blog so it will probably be low on real journalism and high on poor attempts at humour.
