Bags almost packed and in 6 hours we are off to Heathrow, then it's: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Peru again...and Brazil again. And side trips to Paraguay and Uruguay.Our friends Helen & Steve are joining us for the last two weeks in Brazil. And we fly back into Heathrow on March 20.
Bags have been weighed and are amazingly light! What has been forgotten?
One thing that surprised me already - Sao Paulo is only 2 hours time difference from London, Buenos Aires only 3, even Chile only 5 - the same as Eastern USA. Shows what an odd mental picture of the globe I have!
We will keep the blog going as best we can given the vagaries of wi-fi and the like. If you decide you had enough - tell us and we will take you off our list!

How exciting! Have a great time and I look forward to reading more over the next ten weeks. It makes my hop over to Holland tomorrow seem vey tame by comparison.
