Changing of the Guards

Finally made it into the city this morning with Charne to see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace.

We walked through this park to get to Buckingham Palace.

We could hear them long before we saw them.

Big furry hats.

Soldiers marching past.

More soldiers marching past us.

Soldiers inside the palace grounds.

Standing still as statues.

A statue just outside the palace.

Me outside the front of Buckingham Palace.

The lake in St James' Park.

Gates leading to the palace area.

The palace and the crowds still watching the changing of the guards.

In the background is the London Eye.

At the end of the this street is Buckingham Palace.
