Getting Ready

Hi everyone,

So, this is our first blog entry and the most observant of you will realise that its being written from London - we haven't actually set off yet. We'll be leaving on Friday the 13th, which, although not a particularly auspicious date, we're hoping will be a lucky for us. Depending on how often we're able to get to internet cafes, you'll be able to keep up-to-date with how the trip is going through these pages.

Preparations are going pretty well and apart from a tent which has still not arrived from California, we pretty much have all our kit together, its now just a case of getting it all to Monaco! We've been planning for this trip, and all the fundraising around it, for a couple of years now so we can't wait to get on our way. The 'Bon Voyage' send off last week was just what was needed to get us all in the mood, and looks to have raised around £300 for MNDA.

Right, so long for now. The next time you hear from us we'll be in France, munching on brie and baguette.
