sunday afternoon, I'm on my hostel room, having some good time with a cup of tea and a sandwich. today was a long day but tomorrow is gonna be so much more.. My week started in gothenburg when my alarm waked me up at 05.00 in the morning. I went up from my comfortable bed to have something to eat and then take the bus to the Central-station to take the train to Stockholm for about three hours. I came to Stockholm 08.50 and took a taxi to Arlanda airport and I arrived about one hour later. finally, I stood at the big, scary airport. i had never been there before and it was so much difference from Landvetter (the airport in gothenburg). After one hour of hassle, eventually I was sitting on the plane to krakow, Poland to start my big adventure. I arrived to krakow airport at 12.30 after about two hours flight and was surprised of the good wether, it was at least 20 grades and i had to take of my big winter jacket that I took with me to keep warm, but realized it was unnecessary haha. I had already prepared a hostel room in krakow city for only 60 SEK per night, crazy with the thought of its placed in the middle of the town and near to everything. I took a cap from the airport to my hostel. The building I was going to live in was big, old and really beautiful. I finally came up to my room where it already was two girls from Germany and one from Norway, hannah, Emelie and Christen. my new roommates. I had never met these people before but it didn't take long time before i realized they was so nice and kindly. we decided to eat and then take a trip to the famous concentrations camp, Auschwitz. We hitchhiked to Auschwitz with a funny man who told us many stories about when he was backpacking like us. it was a long car-ride but we came to the old town Oswiecim where Auschwitz is placed. we arrived just in time for the next guide round. Lena, our guid told us that Auschwitz was active during the second world war(1940-1945) when Adolph Hitler killed every jew he could find. she said that about 1.3 millions of people transferred to the concentration camp and at least 1.1 millions jews died in the gas chambers. They got deceived in there and were poisoned with a poison called zyklon-B. she told us all about the incident and it was incredible interesting. She guided us down to the prison halls and the gas chambers. It was a real experience that came to wake up strong feelings and i could feel death hung in the air. Its unbelievable that this happened for real for just 70 years ago. When I was at Auschwitz I really could imagine how they really had it and it was emotionally when i saw the huge piles of shoes, bags, bowls and other belongings to the jews that they had put down before they went into the gas chamber. Lena also told us that after the jews got poisoned to death Hitlers "group" lay them in big mass-graves. I will never be the same after this day, this experience is just sick! I thank God for this day!

We came home to krakow late and went to eat pizza at a restaurant named "da Grasso" and shared a Capriciosa worth 23zloty, 50 SEK. so cheap!?!

Christen woke me up early the next morning and asked if I wanted to join a half-day in the salt-mine in Wieliczka, I was in Poland to experience so of course😉 the bus catched us up in the lobby at 9 o'clock. We met a guid who guided us around in the fascinating salt-mine we saw many incised pictures like "the last supper" by Leonardo da Vinci, and much more. We came home circa four hours later and spent the rest of the day on Krakow's beautiful small streets, we saw many big buildings, ate tasty food and just had a good time. After a long day in the town we went to a strip club and had the best night of our life's. I cant remember how i came home that night but I woke up in my bed at my hostel. Christen and I wanted to change city so we booked a flight to London 22.10pm. The wednesday in krakow did we spent on the streets in town, we took a coffee in a cozy cafe and after that we took a cab to krakow airport. The plane took only one and a half hour, pretty chill 😉 We were in London at 12am and rented a room on a hostel. It costed 156 SEK per night, its an ok price. Those days in London I came to use my winter jacket again, it was like 15grades and only clouds in the sky, so cold!!! And that tuesday was a good day, we went to see big ben, London eye, London bridge. We went to many vintage stores and Christen found a jacket that she bought to her sister. that day felt like it ran away but we had so much fun!:D We ate breakfast at a little cafe around the corner the next morning. Then we took the underground to Harrods, and then we visited piccadilly circus and china town. Saturday was pretty much the same, we went to many markets, visited trafalgar square and buckingham palace. And today we've been at sankt Pauls cathedral and museum of London and learned about history of London. It has been a week full of action and i've seen and been through so much. Backpacking really is my thing:D
