Carnival

Hi All,

This was our first time to this side of the carnival and the first time we'd seen Aba-Shanti-I at carnival too. Once again things didn't go to plan although we didn't get split up this time. A great place to experience the floats here because it's at the finish so the dancers are all mingling about and you can get right up to them to take photos. We started off at Aba-Shanti-I and then we made our way to Saxon Sound taking in various sounds and food along the way. We made our way back to where we started for the last hour only to find the roads into the carnival from the parade were closed for some reason. The police were telling us there were too many people but it didn't look that busy. Anyway they finally let us back in with about 50 minutes to go.

A great end to a fantastic and emotional visit to see old friends, refound friends and family. Thank you all so much for making our visit such a good one.
