Almost our shop! We woke up on time with good intentions to go and do a walking tour recommended to us by Rebecca and Brett but somehow it didn't happen... and it was crappy weather outside anyway! Instead we mooched about our really nice, spacious hotel room then went on our own driving tour around Dublin and Nicole was our 'tour guide'... I would highly recommend hiring her... she is good at reading off a map and making history up!
We dropped our car off at the rental place and caught the shuttle back to the airport. We checked in and went straight to our flight... time goes really fast when you have to check in and go through securtiy and all the other 'stuff'. Because we were one of the last ones to check-in (no Mum and Dad, we were not running late!) we weren't able to sit together, which I still find rediculous because if we booked as a group of 3 we should have been pre-placed somewhere in a row of 3... stupid cheap airline! Our flight was fine... actually went quite fast! We collected our luggage with no dramas and went through customs (which is 2 guys sitting there doing

Christ Church Cathedral... still standing nothing) to depart – I really feel sad when I walk through the arrivals doors to no-one waiting on the other side to greet us (hopefully someone is there when we arrive back in Christchurch as we need a ride home! Hehe thanks guys! Love you xx :P)
We caught yet another shuttle to go and pick up our rental car which took a while to sort out! We wanted to get GPS but for the price of GPS we could get a bigger vehicle and because I had booked through trifty.COM we were getting ripped off so he made another booking through thrifty.CO.UK (big tip for anyone travelling... go to the countries website instead of the general website! Always a lot cheaper!).... Anyway we managed to leave with a nice big Volvo station wagon with fancy leather interior, a pop out GPS, no key ignition and buttons where if you push the right one will knock Nicole out... I shall explain later!
We headed on our merry way to get out of London where Steve gave me the map the wrong way and instead of it taking approximately 1 hour to get out of London it took us 2 hours! I was in the front passenger seat and the back of the seat felt like it was lying back so I was trying to get it to sit up more... the leaver on the side of the seat just made the whole seat go up and down so I started pushing buttons (Yea, a tad silly now that I think about it) and I found a button that looked like it was a seat and an arrow pointing forward, well clearly that was the button to make my seat go forward so I pushed it... Instead of my seat going forward there was a scream from the backseat, apparently the button I had pushed did not make my seat go forward but instead made the head rests in the backseat flick forward... and fast! Whoops! Through my hysterical laughter I managed to eventually apologise but it was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!
We made it to our Trvelodge in Cambridge by about 8pm so we went to the wee diner infront for tea and used there free Internet (when you are travelling you have to make the most of free Internet!), we were first into the diner and by far the last!
We are now in our room and time for bed!
Nighty night
