The eagle has landed..... or more correctly a large disheveled hairy blowfly has landed!!

Couple of hours delay in Hong Kong which meant we arrived 3 hours late into London at 4.30pm. Pretty easy getting the tube to Kings Cross station (ahhh all that planning down to the last detail paid off). Felt like 2am in the morning but the sun was shining! Ive got a cold and am coughing every 1 -2 minutes. You could see people on the tube thinking I had SARS or Swine flu and wishing they had a mask to put on. Did mean we had plenty of seating space around us.

Room small but serviceable and close to the tube and St Pancras for our journey across to France.

Woke up at 5am this morning (the internal clock still a bit out) ......want to try and find a place that sells decent coffee as I suspect that this B&B we are staying in serves you instant international roast...... although could be surprised as the owners are Italian.

Left a couple of pictures..... not the the remotest bit interesting, but heh I have to kick this thing off.

Escaped from Van Diemans Land
Holiday haircut using a number 4. Jane reckons I looked like a Beagle boy escaped from the penetentiary. The cut is low maintenance and I didn't need to pack a comb..... saved 50gms on my carry-on luggage

They will wait a little longer
These suckers are some of our fellow travelers waiting in line at Hong Kong Airport. They think they were going to get on first. Little did they know we were going to be delayed for over 2 hours
