London
After a fine breakfast, Mark Charly and me headed into the city for a walk. We met up with James and attempted a guided tour by quiz, however the quiz was cryptic so we fell short of finding our way rather miserably. We wandered over to the London museum and had a brief look. Nearby we found the london wall, built quite a few years back to keep the unwelcome at bay. After the romans departed, the wall fell to ruins and have been exposed in recent times. We walked past St Peters cathedral down to the Blackfriars bridge where we had an ale to quench our thirst in the hot northern sun. We crossed the Thames (flowing inland due to tide) and on to the southern side of the river to find lunch. After lunch we met up with Claire and headed home for an afternoon nap.
