Roebbelen Family Julia was feeling sick again today, so sadly we had to head off to London without her. It was not the same without our 4th, but we had a good day nonetheless. We visited the Tower of London and went on a guided tour to start off. We were amazed to be standing in buildings that date back to the 11th century- it's really hard to get your mind around. We saw the Crown Jewels (more that's really hard to comprehend) and the various armouries. After the Tower we walked along the Thames over to St. Paul's Cathedral. This was my favourite memory of London from my brief visit last year, but it awed me anew. My memory had obviously not captured its immensity and brilliance even close to adequately. I think we're planning on going back on Saturday for a proper guided tour.
