St Patrick's Day is huge in London. Obviously there are many Irish and Irish descendants living here but the ocals get very much into it as well. There is a great street parade full of costumed dancers (including the Irish dancing girls) and lots of marching bands etc.
Great fun to watch.
We bought our silly 2 pound Irish hat, a couple of flags and joined the crowd to cheer. I felt especially happyl as my grandfather was from County Armagh and so we have a Celtic connection.
