We played locals today and went down to the local playground for a run around. It wasn’t a nice day but at least it was nice to get the kids out and do something for them. We then had a coffee at the local shopping centre which has a kid’s play area! My kind of cafe!

Then this afternoon, we found a great Gymboree indoor playground for kids. It’s so brilliant and so perfect for English weather. It’s not a big room, maybe 10m x 5m, but it has lots of things to climb on, slide down and jump over! There are mats everywhere so it’s really soft to land on. I think Edyn realised this because she choose this place to take her first walk! She’s taken one step here and there, but today she actually took a walk. It was only about 3 metres but she was very deliberate! It was so exciting and all the other mummies in the play area cheered her on as much as we did! I wouldn’t say we have a toddler now, but it will only be a matter of days I think! Very cool!
