Edit Blog Post
Hi again 😊
Another blog so soon, aren't I good! Haha
So yesterday I trained into London in the late morning to meet Jeremy, these train lines here are NOT easy to use. There are like 23 different lines so if you get on one train you might get off a few stops later but then you will need to leave this big confusing 'I have lots of different corners and turns and exits' station and walk to another one to get on a different train to get to your destination. I am not looking forward to doing it by myself. So yea I met him once I had figured out how to get to his station because we are on different lines, and we headed to Camden for the Camden Markets. We were chatting away and only when I asked 'what stop do we get off at?' Jeremy realised we had missed our stop! Ha good start to the day. So back we went.
Anyway the Camden markets, wow. HUGE place I don't think we even got round the whole thing, and it's not in one space it's like a lil maze it goes everywhere. There's loads of different food places, clothing shops, knick knacks, jewellery, even fishies to eat the dead skin off ur feet mmmmm. It's not like the kind of markets we have, it's hard to explain though, I'll put photos up on facebook so you can see what it was like. There was this pretty cool shop where a guy and a girl were up on platforms dancing to dance music and the store was dimmed and the majority of things were coloured glow in the dark stuff. It was kind of futuristic looking, I tried taking a photo but got told off 😞
I didn't buy anything at the markets apart from a massive slice of pizza which was pretty yum. Did I mention it was 28degrees? So hot! We spent a while trying to find a pub where we could sit outside for a drink but that was a bit of a fail, we ended up at a diner place and had a drink there. Eventually we moved inside because it was too hot.
After that sometime we met up with a few of Jeremys flatmates, found a pub in Camden Markets and had a yummy cider while standing by aaaa not sure if you would call it a river.. but by water anywho. And I swear there was a lady drinking straight from a vodka bottle, unless it was water? or sprite?
Went round some more shops/stalls for the guys. After that we stopped at another pub, then I think we headed to The Barn(the flat).
I think Jeremy has 18 flatmates(nope that wasn't a typo!), I can't remember how many I met last night, more than 10 but they were all pretty nice. We just hung in the lounge and watched tv, had a few drinks. Noone calls him Jeremy though, only Jstar... Lol. A few of us ordered Thai for dinner as you do, we ordered online at about 7.45ish. 8pm....8.30pm....9pm.... WHERE IS OUR FOOD? We call them at 5 past, "it'll be there in 10minutes" 20 minutes later our food still hasn't come! We call again and ask for something because it is so friken late.. they throw in 2 or 3 cans of fizzy.
Today we were out of The Barn about 11am maybe, first of all we went by Wembley Stadium, then hopped on a train to Oxford street. We didn't actually do any shopping, just looked in a few stores then Jstar my tour guide got all secretive and changed plans on me. "I'm hungry, lets go to Mcds" ok walking to Mcds, walking past Mcds... into another train station. Would not tell me where we were going and we ended up by Big Ben! From here I can't remember what order we did things in, we saw so much in a short time it was hard to take everything in properly 😞 We saw all the usual except forgot about Buckingham Palace. It was so cool walking across the Tower Bridge, it was pretty windy. Almost made me feel at home, almost. Jstar was actually a pretty good tour guide too spurting out lil bits of information every now and then. Inbetween all the old buildings we were seeing we met with Tom and Simon(a flatmate of Jstars and his friend) for lunch. We went to an Indian place down a street out of central London, after lunch we walked the streets looking at street art! There was so much of it scattered all over the place, it was awesome to see. The streets we found the art in were pretty run down but it was really cool to see the backstreets of London and all. We said goodbye and were on our way with some more sightseeing. One of the last things we saw was Saint Pauls Cathedral and hooooooly crap it is humongous!!! Like our churches would look microscopic in comparison.
We ended the day by going on the London Eye :D We got into our lil bubble thing with about 10 other people, it was really spacious and you could walk around. It took half an hour to do a full circle. We went on it at quarter past 8 so it was dark and all the city lights were on making it look really pretty 😊 I couldv'e gone round many more times! After that was over we walked to the train station to head back, I went to my aunt n uncles and Jstar went back to the Barn. Haha Jstar... I can't get over that nicnkname.
Well I shall put up photos soon(I hope) so you can have a nosey through 😊
Ohyea and a random guy jumped infront of me and tried to scare me because he thought I was his friend/gf coming back from the bathroom haha it was actually really funny because he was so embarassed, I had a good laugh.
Warner Brothers Studios tomorow for Harry Potter :D
Am I meant to say bye on these things? or sign off
xoxo gossip girl
