Today is London day, we ended up on the coach with 13 of us, but most of us must have been tired from the Birmingham show, because it was very quite, more quite than I expected it to be.
I was still recovering from my cold, and minding my own business. The journals were shared and people wrote/read in it.
With a little delay we arrived at Victoria coach station, and we had to take the underground from there to Kings Cross.
We were not the only travellers going that direction, so we all hooked up.
After a short stop for a Money box for Twilla, the travel continued. We arrived at our hotel a little before 2 and a quick shower was a must.
Of course our hotel room did not have warm water at that moment, so a cold shower it was. Well at least I was wide awake now.
All ready and dressed up, meeting our lovely Lorna and Joanne, who are joining us to the meet & greet of today.
First a few drinks at the Glass works, and while sitting there and chatting, we see Ben Johnson on the other side of the mall,
Me, sitting with 3 Johnson girls had a good time, seeing the girls go mad. (okay, i admit, i kinda squee'ed a bit too)
There are many girls waiting in front of the venue, and a lot of them have a Meet & Greet as well. Zookeepers have to be last in line again. and I chat around a bit.
Mich and Ellie are waiting for the M&G line to pass, so they can go in for the Hell Yeah 100 Monkeys interview, and they wrote on my jeans in the mean time. (Are you looking at my bum, ginormous on my bum)
Then it's time for us to go in the M&G room.
I was wearing my tail, and it was the first thing Jackson noticed when i stepped in. I HAD to tell that Mich wrote something on my jeans and showed it. of course Jackson was reading out loud what it said. "Are you looking at my bum...." and laughed and said. "Yeah, apparently I do."
I asked Ben if I could take a picture of him and my green Yo Yo, coz a certain dad doesn't really like my green yo yo.
And just like boys SHOULD be like, they all loved playing around with yo yo and show the tricks they know.
Jackson decided that lil Green yo yo should be on the M&G picture too, and so it happens.
I showed Ben my new tattoo and he and Jackson really liked it. Ben asked if I had more so I showed them, which resulted in him, showing the tattoo on his leg. (and YES, his tattoo is indeed on the same place as mine)
He told me he remembered seeing the music note in my neck before(Õ_o, and he peeked in my shirt to see the Queen one on my back. (that was a bit awkward.)
Lorna and Joanne go stand in line while Monica and I go get some food and drinks for them and us.
We get to go in early, and take our place in front of the stage.
Too bad that Lisa, our other zookeeper and friend, got pushed away by mophead, (that did not have a zookeeper pass)
The concert was amazing, and i keep saying that at every concert, but it just was. I've been to so many concerts,
that i completely lost track of which songs been played at what shows. But i can honestly say, that i LOVE Ben Johnson when he sings Wandering Mind.
We stayed last in line for the signings again, and this time they DID sell beer. which resulted in 5 big cans of beer AND we got to meet Marty, who was the nice guy and taking time to talk to us, few of us took a picture with him, and he even signed my jeans.
Marty is made of awesome.
The signings were pretty much fun, considering i had a few beers, I kept hugging Ben (or did he keep hugging me.. who knows) and I told him my 'santa dress' plan for the party the next day.
Time for some food and a taxi back to the hotel, it's raining so a taxi is more than welcome.
Tomorrow is the day of the end of tour party, and the nerves for that are creeping up already.
At 2am it's finally time to get some sleep after promising Lorna, Joanne and Karin to meet them for breakfast in the morning.
