Race for Life 2006

Just a quick entry to say the Australia A team (see pic 1) recently completed the Race for Life "fun run" with 15,000 others to raise money for Cancer Research UK who conduct life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.

The team consisted of Alison Hay (aka Verity Quinn), Michelle Pratley, Astrid Sandberg, Karyn Palmer, Susie Wicks, Georgie Presnell, Julie Catt, Tamsin Hone, Tasha Pobjoy, Mel Fogarty, George Downer and moi. We raised over £1000 pounds so it was a great fundraising effort by all team members.

The run took place around the beautiful streets of Central London past sights such as St Paul's Cathedral so it was an amazing event to be part of. Following our success, we congratulated each other over a glass of pimms and lemonade and an array of culinary delights (see pic 2).
