Christmas Day 2005

It was my first christmas in a cold climate and I was hoping that it would snow and turn everything into a white wonderland! It didnt snow on christmas day, but it did manage it on boxing day, about the same time I had mum on the phone! Needless to say, she heard the childlike excitement that I was exuding!!

Liani and I had managed to find a tree that we could get up five flights of stairs without killing ourselves... it was to be big and glamorous, but in the end it turned out to be a little fella with very spikey needles!!! The three of us decorated it with fairy lights and artificial snow, and filled up underneath with lots of presents!!!

Christmas morning we spent unwrapping gifts and preparing our feast for the day!

Christmas Day Lunch:

Prawns on lettuce with chilli and lime
Broccoli cream soup
Roast chicken/Ham with roast vegetables
Lemon tart with fresh strawberries

+ lots of wine, spirits and choccies!!!

It was a lovely day, we were all extremely full after our day of eating, and an afternoon nap was enjoyed by all!!!
