Luke, Heath and I caught a beautiful glimpse of London by night from the infamous London Eye. The structure itself is amazing, a huge erected wheel on the banks of the Thames, with glass capsules that you step into to view the lovely city scape.

Whilst still turning, security do a quick sweep for any nasties that may have been left behind, once cleared you simply walk in to an egg shaped capsule that allows 360 degree views.

My favourite building was the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben which look stunning lit up reflecting on the water. The ride takes about 30min during which you are able to see all the points of interest over London.

Once we finished Luke and I stopped to grab some pretty nice photos of the area around the Eye, all pretty in blue!!
