johnnie finds a church to attend in london
well did anyone figure out that the Westminister Church is not 4000 years old. i like to exagerate. the oldest things i saw in london that i remember was some paintings in the national gallery that were painted in 12??. When we were wandering around the 16th century paintings (1500-1599) and i saw some landscapes, i could see what europe looked like when johnnie's fathers family came to canada in the mid 1500's.

after johnnie had completed her beatles tour 2 we went to see the queen at buckingham palace. she wasn't home but we wandered around her house looking for her. it is quite the shack! afterwards we wandered down to see big ben and we got there about 2 minutes before 6 so were treated to the 6 bongs.

the last day at london we went to the national gallery to look at the paintings. afterwards we wandered down to coventry(not the correct spelling) gardens, an open air like market with interspersed building containing shops and vendors.

we missed seeing a few things so it would have been nice to have booked an extra day here but we really enjoyed the visit. the weather was nice
