In the snow
Got my passport!So... its the day before the off and the whole of Britain has woken up to a blanket of snow! In London it is reported to be the heaviest in 2 decades and of course the transport system is on total shutdown. All buses, tubes and trains aren't running and both the runways are closed at Heathrow for now but hopefully it will all be cleared by tomorrow night and the backlog also cleared.
Got myself togged up in every warm thing I own and set out this morning to collect my passport - worried that they wouldn't have been able to get the Vietnamese visa stamp. No need to have worried... despite all the banks and most of the shops being closed, Trailfinders were open and had everything ready for me. Phew!
