I'm off again, this time on my own. We started travelblogging in 2008 when, with the parenting responsibilities of six children long-gone, we (Michelle & Kevin) left home for a three months adventure during which time we spent some of the kids inheritance! Having always loved traveling, prior to our three months away six weeks has been the longest period we've been overseas and that was mostly with kids in tow. Still not well enough to go far, and read your blog with great interest. I enjoy travelling vicariously these days, thanks to my friends! Recently read ‘Boy Swallows Universe’ - will be interested to hear your thoughts. Took me some time to get into it, but I think he is a good writer and worth persevering with. Happy travelling, x

We certainly did enjoy our short stay in London which I've visited on a few occasions. Certainly a few less tourists at places like Westminster Abbey would have been a bonus!! I can thoroughly reccommend the Corus Hotel at Lancaster Gate if you're ever looking for a nice hotel which is in a convenient spot and not too expensive.
