Update: we are home safe and sound but slightly incoherent, forgetful and not quite here yet. So in an attempt to cure jet lag we cashed in our Xmas gift from Saraya and ventured to the beer and cider festival in Catania Gardens, St. Kilda. It was great!

We are now in Avoca inspecting the storm damage which didn't do any serious harm; just some mud on the floor AND the dams are still holding a lot of water! EUREKA!

Our last day in London involved visits to two wonderful museums: the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Natural history Museum, both situated in beautiful old stone buildings that were available to the public and FREE to enter, as it should be. We have posted a few photos of these great places and will spare you the commentary on carting two, very heavy cases and back packs onto trams, trains and automobiles to get home, BUT the good news is Michael managed to bring 7kg of rocks home!

mum NOLA- 3 kg, 2 stones, red and green jasper. They are for her xx we love you mum and I know John, Kez and Wend will remember your passion for beautiful natural stone. They had to come home.

So it's over and out until our next venture into the world: maybe New Zealand? Thank you for being our wonderful blog followers and coping with all our dribble!

That you could walk on! The V & A and this building allow for the first time, that we witnessed, a magnificent building that let ordinary people access the upper levels.
