Leaving on a Jet Plane

No way this is it. But it didn't quite feel real until the conversation with the stern faced immigration officer at Vancouver airport went something like this;
"How long are you staying in Canada?" (serious face)
"14 Days."
"then where are you going?" (still serious)
"USA, Fiji, New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Japan."
"How long for?" (mellowing)
"12 months."
"so this is day one?" (big excited smile for us.)
