Waiting in Heathrow

Sitting in Terminal 3 waiting to board the flight to Madrid. Then have to transfer to get a flight to Lima which leaves at 30 minutes past midnight. Should arrive in Lima early Thursday morning. The problem then will be trying to convince the hotel that I am a worthy cause for them to let me have the room early.
Terminal 3 departure lounge is far removed from civilisation as I know it in Totnes. I would descibe it as a human marshalling yard where all the inhabitants are fed and watered before they are transported off to another part of the planet. There is plenty of eating, drinking, snoozing and texting. What did we do before the pc and mobile telephone.
Here's hoping that Man Utd get a good result in Moscow this evening followed by the thrashing of Liverpool next Sunday. I doubt they will be showing it in the Peruvian jungle next Sunday!!!
