London town 17/09/09
Rubs and me reunited. Woohoo!London was good times. From the 14th of September to the 18th of September.
I spent it staying at Rubina's. I managed to meet up with Alisi (who I used to work at Mirvac with) and walked around the city. Saw Robert Di Niro and 50 cent who we didn't realise at the time was him. Then saw a street performer. Had Chinese for dinner. I met up with Elissa - a good friend I had when I was studying at Hertfordshire. We had tea and cupcake at Starbucks. And went for romantic walks and for lunch along the Thames. I also walked along the Thames and got my foot stuck in mud during this London trip. I checked out El's humble abode - she was now living in the good old UK with her fiance - who she had met whilst studying abroad. Richard was his name. Me and Rubina had fish and chips for dinner.
To top off my good old England/London rondeauvau I had some ASDA brunch and stocked up on Milk digestives oh yes. Only the 35p (they used to be 24p in the good old Hertfordshire studying days) ASDA smart price milk digestives will cut
the mustard.
Before leaving I had an awesome dinner with Elissa and Richard. Unfortunately Chi - who I also studied with in Herts couldn't make it. I finally got to meet Richard which was great him and El make the best couple.
The 18th of September was spent getting a bus back and re-checking into the inner Amsterdam hotel.
