Arc d'Triomphe

hi everyone,

Well I am back safe and sound from a fantastic trip to Paris. The train ride there and back was very nice and the three hours went by very quickly. Saturday was busy with trips to lots of sights. We started out by going to the Eiffel Tower and went right to the top to get a great view of Paris. We then went to Luxembourg Gardens for a lovely lunch and a chance to look at some great gardens and a very nice Palace. After that, we went to the Orsay to look at some fantastic modern art. We then made our way back across the Seine to get on the Champs d' Elysees and walked all the way up to the arc d'Triomphe. We then made our way back towards our hostel and had a fantastic, authentic French dinner which was one of the highlights of the trip. Sunday was packed with a morning trip to the Louvre to catch as much of it as possible. We then made our way over to Notre Dame which was beautiful. The afternoon consisted of simply walking the streets of Paris and partaking in some great Paris pastries and

bread. We Went to Les Invalides to see Napoleon's tomb before heading to Trocadaro for a great look at the Eiffel Tower. It was then back to the train station for the trip back to London. The trip was fantastic with no complaints. The food, hostel, transportation and people of Paris were fantastic. I had great traveling companions and am looking forward to some more trips. In the meantime, its back to school and a big push for the next couple of weeks on work. The next big highlight is next Sunday afternoon when I go and get to see my first Arsenal Match.
