Today I woke up had a shower and went downstairs to see if they had any free breaky. NOPE not even close. So I packed up my stuff and headed down by the water to make my bus for 1230. I thought I would have tonsa time but no. As you might of guessed I was keeping to my usual habits and was near not even making the damn thing. I was pretty hungry and my stomach was a bit worried to say the least. I had absolutely no time to get anything and it wasnt like there was a good convient cafe of anything either. More like 24 hour fish and chips places. The weather wasn't too great today. First day in awhile it was overcast. Made it to the bus with plenty of seconds left on the watch listening to my reggae the whole way. I was trying to find this song on the ipod but I completly forget know which one it was. Thank the lord i have my ipod again. Lost without it. So i did end up making it to the bus definetly the last one on. Took off and managed to get some solid sleep
in as well. Last part of it I spent scrapbooking and organizing myself.
The best part was that I had a place to stay and not only that but a fellow Victoria to meet up with!! So I wanted to do something that took a bunch of time cause I got into town around 230 and wasnt meeting up with Ash till around 630 so I chose to check out the British Museum.
Took me a tid bit of wandering around to find it but i sure did. Wow it was huge!!!! You look up and its like your inside a globe or something its just bright white lights. Not too bright but it was something else. Problem was that I had my bag on and I didnt want to walk around the damn thing knocking over priceless artifacts!!! So i managed to locate the cloakroom and then I ran into my second problem. They didnt wanna take it because it was too big AND they closed the damn thing at 530 which by now it was 430 and the damn museum didnt shut till 8 figure that out. So plan was go around with the bag BUT the guy
yells me back over and says well its right on the line ill let you do it but remember door shuts at 530. Wicked so I got up to the second floor as quick as I could cause they shut this section first and saw most of the highlighted things on the map. Really cool I saw the ancient chess set found in the 1200's Scotland the Lewis Chessman. I screamed through most of it. WIsh I could have spent hours there. Saw most of the sections of Europe and Egypt, Mesopotamia, and ancient Islam.
Then time was running out and it was getting close to 530 so I went downstairs to catch the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon, and Egyptian artifacts. Silly thing was that I could get around no problems on the first floor where all that stuff was.
