Well if February was the month of birthdays, with 1-3 birthday parties each weekend, then March was the month of missing touch. What do I mean? Well, let me explain. Claire & Brendon's adventures. Can you believe it? Another year gone! Where does the time go? Brendon loves even numbers - and is thrilled about the idea of 2010. So nice and even and balanced. Anyone think perhaps he should be an accountant..... Anyway, the past few years have really been living the dream for us. It's hard to imagine that anything could beat them. But with Cuba, Turkey and a trip on the Trans Siberian / Trans Mongolian Express from Beijing right the way up to St Petersberg all being in our shortlist, it might just be the best yet. Growing in the UK

Very different from NZ, most plants need to germinate indoors to have long enough to grow before Autumn. Good thing we had this - as it snowed the following weekend.

What's that?

Snow is covering all the beautiful Spring blossoms of our apple & plum trees.

Imagine waking up to this

Peering out of the bedroom window at 8.30 on a Spring Sunday morning we were not expecting to see this. Note the recycling bin placed over my daffodils the night before to protect them.

Snow, what snow?

Brendon's only concession to the freezing weather is a beanie. As you see from the girl in the foreground, while he's just 'subbed' onto the field - he won't stay clean for long.

It's Disco time!

Wade and 'Big Al'. Two new members of our touch team. Their Rotorua accents and nicknames 'Big Ted' and 'Little Ted' evoke meories of home.
