Before you travel...

Hi there,

This is a testing entry to familiarise myself with travelblog.

It is now exactly a month before i head off. Although getting closer and closer there is so much to do and so many people and places to see before hand that I haven't really started to think about it.

However, what I have realised is just how expensive travelling is, and thats before you even get on the aircraft! There is the obvious expense of tickets but on top I have had over £250 of injections and bought over £150 worth of kit from steralising tablets, to padlocks to suncream. Hopefully it will get cheaper once i leave. Just a lil advice to wannabe traveller - take your mum shopping with you, works a treat!

Next entry will probably be from Antigua, Guatemala.
