YAY YAY YAY

so yesterday we all went into hull to do some shopping so much fun, and saw the old town. Day started with a real early morning for bed, havent worked out the sleep thing yet, was up at 430am, and watched the 1000 channels there are on tv here! was great, people eventually got up around 9, and after breakfast and showers we got out of home by 11 to go to hull!
First stop was the shopping centre, where i had to buy a phone, I NOW HAVE 2! hooray, lol, cant remember my uk number at the moment, but i'll find it and put it up here if you wish to message me! i'll still check my aussie phone occasionally, anyway i'm getting distracted, so i got a phone, Aunty Sally got a new phone, and so did cousin Phillipa!! so it was a phone fiesta when we got home later in the day, stupid ringtones that are crap, then after phones i went and got myself a scarf! Now i dont have to wear a shirt, i'm just wearing a scarf and pants aT the moment, how awesome is that! i'm working it out! scared the neighbour a bit yesterday though i think, had to go outside to meet here, and thats all i was wearing, haha, jeans and a scarf, teehee, she loved it! so after i got my really cool scarf, we went out to explore the seaside port of HULL!! what a cool city! started on the old side and the streets are all cobble stone, the buildings are olod, and we saw part of the old wall that surrounded hull, in ye olden times, lol, Jordie was taking heaps of photos, so we're going to put them up somewhere later, he's taking heaps, i'm taking a few but it takes me a while to remember i have a camera on me, that'll get better as i keep travelling! So we passed what is the smallest window in all of England, and it was made for a lookout for the coach watchers or whatever they're called, the window is about 1.5cm wide and about 8 inches tall, wierd, lol, so we kept walking and we found that all around hull there is a tour type thing that you can do which is to go treasure hunting for fish, these fish are like images of fish laid in concrete on the floor, or in stones or all around the place, and so we have a few photos of them, and terrifically they are all set pretty much in front of a pub, so of course that will be a brilliant pub crawl! Speaking of pubs, we were getting a little thirsty by then, so we stopped in at a place called Ye Olde White Harte, which is the place that Oliver Cromwell and King William had there big fight or something, some history thing then, and over the years since then as they have renovated and what not they have found human skeletons in the walls and the ground and what not, and on one of the bars they still have one of the skulls that they have removed from one of the excavations, cool ey! So we had some warm beer, not quite used to it yet, but its quite tasty, and enjoyable, just weird, lol, so travel on we did from there, and headed down to the sea side, where we got some photos of the river, the sub something thats an aquarium, and the big thingy that stops hull flooding, 😊 And then we turned around and there was a restaurant called Cerruties, not sure if i spelt it right, but i was informed, that it is a very nice seafood restaurant, of which a few years ago it was where my dad courted my Mumma! so cool, teehee, and what do you know, there a was a pub next door, which i have little doubt that it was once frequented by my DAD!! so we went in for another warm beer, nice little pub that one, with the tiniest stools to sit on, i guess they made them so when dad fell off the stool there wasnt so far to fall! 😊 yay,
so then we continued on and walked past the marina, lots of fishing boats, with a tiny exit/entry point, utterly confusing, then we went off to the new side of hull, which just means a few new shopping centres and wider streets, we found a camping store! yay, so much cold weather gear, sill people live in this cold, oh dear, 😊 and then that was it for hull, oh, and in the main square of Hull theres a big big big screen purely used as far as i could tell, for the soccer, and rugby, i like it! little observation of hull for us aussies, apperently its a small city, but man its so busy, the main streets and shopping centres are like pitt street mall in sydney at the beggining of the january sales or something,. i'm still getting used to just the masses of people there are over here, quite exciting,
So back we came home to put our feet up and have some dinner with Phillipa for her last dinner with the family before sh'e an adult! Happy Birthday Phillipa, she had a pretty wild night by the looks of things when we got back from the pub, and her eyes this morning! 😊 so after a beautiful dinner, and some tv and a nap! Jordie and i went out with Aunty Sally and Uncle Neil's to Paul's 50th birthday party, Paul being the next door neighbour, who's wife Julie has fallen in love with me i think, after i met her in jeans and a scarf as i said earlier, teehee, classic! So we went down to a hotel bar where there was a drag queen singer on, and a party for paul, and the drag queen was horrible, so much swearing, so couldnt sing, and they made me turn the rugby off twice so we could endure her wrath! lol, so i met some pretty cool people and jordie and i had a pretty good night, and after we couldnt handle a second act of the drag queen we upped and left to return to see what had happened to the house courtesy of Phillipa's pre drinks for her big night out! and the first thing we saw as we opened up the door, a rather well breasted blowup doll in a g-string, hillarious, and a few drinks left everywhere, including some average whiskey in a coke bottle, well they left some in it, so had to see what it was, 😊
Nearly ready for bed jordie and i decided to try and stay up late so we can finally get a grip on what time our body thinks it is, i think i lasted 5 minutes on the couch wathcing tv before i passed out from exhaustion for a few hours, woke up on couch about 230am, to find tv still on, and lights still on, so i clambered up to bed, to find jordie made it to bed, but the light was still on, poor little bugger just as tired as me, its hard work this sleep thing, 😊 and this morning we all got up and opened cards with Phillipa for her birthday! and had some lovely scrambled eggs, and now i'm here, and up to date!
Hooray,
Love you all!
