On 3rd July, we had an excursion to the Corfe Castle in the morning. We first had a guided tour around Corfe Castle Model Village and a visit to the museum nearby. We enjoyed the magnificent view of the ruin of Corfe Castle.

We had an 1-hour city tour at Swanage. It has a restored heritage steam railway which uses steam engines on many of its journeys, has a year-round timetable and it is the best way to travel between Swanage and Corfe Castle.

After the morning excursion, the students returned to school and attended classes in the afternoon. As arranged with school, the two accompanying teachers went to sit in the classes our students were in. It was encouraging that most of them were quite active and demonstrated their initiative to participate in the class activities. Even though their spoken English was not fluent enough, our students did not felt shy and tried their effort to communicate with other foreign students.
