Went to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door - magnificent scenery. Viewed the countryside from Kiss me Hardy monument (of Horatio Nelson fame). Travelled to Okehampton and Scobchester Farm for Geoff and Lesley to meet Ted and Josie Addison - very interesting and friendly people.
Travelled back through Dartmoor National Park to the Packhorse Inn at South Brent. After dinner we travelled to Torquay (quite an experience on the narrow, windy, single lane roads) to see Sylvia Diamond to track the "misdeeds" of Great Grandfather Loveday. John drove us back safely at about 11.30 pm.
