Me and Phil ready for our first leaving night out with Phil's mates and work mates

Well the time has come when at last we will be leaving England to set off on our travels for a year! Tomorrow we head up to London to stay with Casey for the night, then on Wednesday we set off!! Thailand being our first destination. How exciting!

Im full off mixed emotions at the moment - excited, bit nervous or should I say anxious and sad to be leaving friends and family. Phil is fine, think he's mainly looking forward to a year off work! Dont think he really knows what to expect - but does anyone!?

Just think, this time next week we'll on a beach!
