01 Home for the night
Just behind this church is where our hostel is. Geo: 51.2084, -4.11295
After a few hours of Rach's driving and my navigating, we made it to our destination for the night. We drove around and found the hostel. This town was very quiet, we were confident that we would find beds at the hostel. We were right. Had an en-suite dorm to ourselves. Once accommodation was sorted out, we went for a walk around town. It was a bit windy, but still a very cute little seaside town. This town is north Devon's largest seaside resort. It is summer and it was very quiet!!
We went for a drive to nearby Woolacombe and went for a walk along the beach and saw some colourful beach boxes. Then we drove along the very narrow roads back to Ilfracombe. It is so much easier to travel with a car, especially in this part of the UK.
