I left Dorset on Saturday, August 4th, taking the train from Wareham up to Waterloo Station in London. From Waterloo I transferred to Euston Station by tube and then took a Virgin train up to Penrith in Cumbria. I'd found the Virgin train online. Lake District
Hi Hilary, I never had as big a breakfast as one at a bed and breakfast in the lake district. The lady served me 12 sunny side up eggs and 12 strips of bacon. I started to pass the plate around the table, and she said: Sunny, aren't you hungary, That's only for you!

Wow! All those eggs! I had the cooked breakfast "sans" eggs. Loved the homemade sausages and the wide bacon and all those cooked tomatoes and mushrooms.

love the photos, as always.... but what I admire most is your strength and stamina... I definitely would have signed up for the "E" (easy) walks! LOL
