Here are some pictures of me trying very hard not to get blown away - you wouldn't think from the photos that it's August!
Charlie, Neil, and I stayed in Keswick, a little town in the North-West of the Lake District. We had
some good weather: our walk up Skiddaw on Sunday was almost hot, but Monday and Tuesday brought some very local, but very heavy, showers. We could see the rainclouds moving across the fells towards us very quickly, which meant that I had a little bit of warning each time before I had to go back to hiding inside waterproof bags.
