Hey everybody,

Well it's now Boxing Day and Christmas 2005 is now over. We unfortunately didn't have a white Christmas, but we did try to make it as traditional and special as possible. We opened pressies in the morning, got dressed up (well I did anyway!) and baked a turkey with roast potatoes. It was delicious! Oh and Wes' tabouli.

We were both spoilt with pressies - in fact we both received similar presents....We both received a new coat (courtesy of Santa), some books (mysteries for me, cook books for Wes!), a game (a puzzle for me, 11 games in one for Wes, including backgammon - his favourite), a new shirt each, and some more clothes for me and some cash from Wes' parents. Oh Wes also received a yoga DVD! Can't wait to see him do it!

We walked off lunch (and Vic's champagne and red wine) in the afternoon and then had cold turkey for dinner while watching Christmas TV.

There is more news. I have a job! It's my almost dream job! Apart from the fact that it's not in HR....and it's only part time (good re. hours - bad re. pay check.....), it's in Knutsford only a 3 minute walk from home. Hopefully in the new year I'll find a complementary job to fit in in the afternoons. I have a job interview on the 4th for an HR job in Stockport - however we went there today and it might be a bit far from home.... Wes has had some marketing job interviews and will hear in the new year (fingers crossed!!).

We're off to Edinburgh tomorrow (a four hour drive) for three days, so you will hear from us again soon.

Love Wes and Vic
