Really looking forward to starting my trip now, I've received details about my host family and they sound so lovely and interesting. Also there home looks beautiful! It looks as though there will be some other volunteers staying there during my time there so I won't be alone (helps me feel a bit less nervous).



Anyway, in terms of preparation I had better get a move on, time is rushing by and there are so many things I need to do. Luckily my mum is well organised so is keeping me on track (well trying to anyway).



Its all becoming so real now and its only a few weeks away! We're feeling very excited tonight so we are having an interpretation of jamaican jerk chicken with rice and peas (quickly becoming one of my favourite foods). Yum!
