Hi everyone, Just to let you all know that the C2C bikeride will be taking place this year.

Ian, Anne and Stuart will be riding Coast to Coast from Whitehaven to Newcastle starting on Thursday 8 May 2008. We will send you daily updates of progress.

They will be fully supported and assisted by Sherpa Carrie and her trusty assistant Sherpa Alison!!

We love the outdoors especially in France and we have had many happy times there. We love to travel but are quite unconventional in that we don't like hotels and posh restaurants or even restaurants really. We love to do our own thing and go off the beaten track wherever we go. We have had some great times doing just this and met some very nice people, especially our mate Sandy (otherwise known as the Edinburgh Landlady) who we met in the Lazy Duck hostel in Scotland.... full info
