Can you even imagine how excited I was to see my 'mum' after being without her for almost 8 months?! Sherlock Holmes and Tages

This was at the Highmoorland Visitor Center. The Hound of the Baskervilles is a crime novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes. It is set largely on Dartmoor in Devon in England's West Country and mom just happened to reading the book while on vacation.

Royal Oak Inn

The Royal Oak Inn was run by this fabulous independent woman. The food was delicious and the room was cozy! Nothing else mattered...we were in Cornwall.

We didn't have a plan leaving Moretonhampstead and Dartmoor, we just knew we wanted to head East to Cornwall. We pulled off the highway because the name of the town Lostwithiel was interesting and we stumbled upon this little gem of an Inn.

Navigator.
I laughed, and Laughed, and LAUGHED at Tages driving, and Emily being the navigator. if you're anything like me and Brad, we fight like crazy when in an unfamiliar place. I'm the navigator and have a way of getting distracted. One wrong turn, and I have Brad telling me we don't have any time for mistakes. Yes, this happened in Pittsburgh, and any other time we have been anywhere outside of our element. Good times!
