Sam and Tim
Christams in the Lakes We have been in the United Kingdom for over a month now and last week decided it was time to settle down and get a job (the NZ dollar does not go far over here, quite a shock to the system after South East Asia). But it has been great seeing some of the uk and being made so welcome by all of Sams family.
Christmas was amazing, we now know why we sing about "dreaming of a white christmas" it snowed all day and in the beautiful scenary of the Lake District it was breath taking.
We brought in 2005 in style up in Edinburgh, Scotland. The fireworks were amazing. This is definately our favourite city in the UK so far, the architecture was awesome.
Then it was off to Glasgow where we experienced real Scottish weather, a solid week of rain and wind.
We have found a flat in West Norwood, South London. This is the area that our good friend Paul lives in and is home to a few other kiwis.
We will be living with two South African guys and an English lass so it should be an interesting mix.
Its freezing over here, strangely
enough tim loves it (any excuse to wear and buy more clothes)
We miss you all very much, so keep in touch cos we love hearing your news.
